Responsibilities:: The position is part of the Integrated Operations Division of Mainstream and carries two major responsibilities

1. Carrying out all the back office work required for the smooth fulfillment of client needs.

2. Carrying out all the field work required in connection with fulfilling of client transactions and other needs.

The JOE will be a part of an Operations Manager’s team and will be required to

  • Maintain the database and software application (currently Investwell) used by the company in an up to date condition in all respects.
  • Update the database every day with the market information such as NAV and the operational information such as transaction feeds from the various registrars.
  • Regularly send out portfolio statements and other reports to clients at frequencies decided from time to time.
  • Gather all market related data from the various public sources or other sources to which the company might have access and collate it as directed by the company.
  • Send out birthday greetings and other messages and mailers to clients every day or at other appropriate intervals as may be required.
  • Log all client requests, howsoever received, fulfill them and track them to closure.
  • Fill in all transaction related forms, partially or completely, to the extent desired by clients, and review forms filled by others for correctness in all respects.
  • Visit the client premises for picking up and delivering application forms and such other documents as may be needed whenever required.
  • Enter all client transactions into the tracking tools used by the company and carry out all the activities required to ensure that the transactions are completed successfully
  • Attending to all client communication, whether by phone, personal visits, e-mail or other means and providing suitable responses to fully satisfy the client.
  • Coordinate with the registrars, fund houses and any other agencies for all needed and appropriate follow-up with respect to client transactions.
  • Keep himself updated about the latest procedures and rules connected with mutual fund transactions, and to attend any training or informational events to which he may be deputed by the company.
  • Keep himself updated about all the company policies and initiatives concerning client handling, and to participate in them to the extent needed.
  • Log all his activities and provide all data and reports about his work as may be asked for by the company.
  • Such other duties and tasks as may be assigned by the Management from time to time, provided they are in keeping with his / her qualifications, experience and position
Other requirements: : The incumbent should have a pleasing personality with good written and oral communication skills. He / she needs to be persuasive, patient and meticulous in their working.

After selection, the incumbent will be imparted training on the Mainstream Way. He / she will be initially appointed on probation for a period of 6 months and confirmed at the end of the period if he / she is a good fit with the company.
Assistant Financial Planner
Position code: AFP - FPD

Qualifications: Any Graduate Completed at least 2 modules of Certified Financial Planner course

Responsibilities: The position is part of the Financial Planning Division of Mainstream and carries two major responsibilities

1. Receiving warm leads of Financial Planning prospects from the Sales and Marketing Division and converting these into paying clients

2. Assisting the Financial Planner in creating Financial plans for the company’s clients.

Other requirements: The incumbent should have a pleasing personality with good written and oral communication skills. He / she needs to be persuasive, patient and meticulous in their working.

After selection, the incumbent will be imparted training on the Mainstream Way. He / she will be initially appointed on probation for a period of 6 months and confirmed at the end of the period if he / she is a good fit with the company.
